Q: I have a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer SS that has a bad problem?
The vehicle leans to the right on both the front and rear-about 1 inch both ways. Has anyone else had this problem. My vehicle has not been damaged(not by myself anyway)
A: The trim height has to be adjusted...
Luckily you're still under factory warranty, so make an appointment with your local Chevy dealership and take the truck in for service so that a trained GM tech can diagnose and repair.
Q: My side air bags front and back went off and i beleive it must have knocked me out for a minute because i put?
the 2008 chevy trailblazer LT2 4WD inpark started it and got off the highway and police were right behind me just as i got on a main street.I didnt Know what happen and neither did they because there were no scraches or dents or under the car.It was a head scacher, does anyone know of this happening to anyone..
A: i would be thinking a faulty sensor set the bags off they do pop rather fast and you prob were in mild shock i would be on the phone with the dealer they need to fix it unless they popped cause of an accident
Q: Buying a used car, help with the price!?
Ok so we found a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer 4x4, for $14k, and 9800 miles. If i was to pay cash what should I offer, 10k?, 12k? what would be a fair price. I also found a similar one at carmaxx, for $15k, and 8500 miles but carmaxx says they dont haggle with prices. What should I do?
I guess what im trying to get at, especially for the first one, is should I offer something a few thousand less? or does this car seem to be fairly prices given its in good condition.
A: Look this vehicle up on Kelly Blue Book, Edmonds, and NADA. Enter as much accurate information as possible to get an accurate estimate of the value. Average the retail results.
Although it is a buyer's market today you need to use a little common sense. Dealers are not giving vehicles away. Few dealers are so desperate to sell vehicles that they are going to sell them at a loss.
Q: Can a driver refuse to give his paperwork until the cop give you the reason for the stop?
i live in Pennsylvania. i was pulled over by the SAME cop on TWO separate occasions in the same neighborhood. in each incident i was driving the same car: a blue 2008 chevy trailblazer. the paper work is legit. the car is flawless. there were no tinted windows. there were no items obstructing view in my back window ie. teddy bears, hats etc. i wasn't speeding or made any traffic violations whatsoever. nor was i driving erratically both times. it was midnight. the neighborhood is poor. i am black. during the first stop, the cop just asked me for my i.d. he didnt ask for my driver's license. nor did he ask for my registration and proof of insurance. i gave him my license immediately. he took it and went to his car. about five minutes later he came back, gave me my license and said he was letting go with a warning. i drove off. he never said why he pulled me over to begin with or say what he gave me a warning about. during the second stop, he asked me for my driver's license this time. however, again, no registration and proof of insurance. i asked him for the reason he pulled me over. he said he wanted my license first. i said i wanted to know the reason before i provide anything. he again asked for it. and i repeated what i said. i refused to give i.d. he went to his car and about two minutes later about ten squad cars showed up and they surrounded my car. each cop had their guns drawn. the original cop told me to step out the car. i refused. the cops opened the door and threw me to the ground and handcuffed me. i wasnt charged with making any traffic violation. NOTHING. i say he was profiling and was looking for a reason for the stop as oppose to actually having a reason. thats why he didnt state the reason. some say that the cop wanted my i.d for his own safety. that's a moot point. if his concerned with his safety for genuine, he would have waited for back up to arrive before he stepped out his car, none the less approach my car. his words are a direct contradiction to his actions. anyway, can a driver refuse to give his paperwork until the cop give you the reason for the stop? please site cases and laws, if any. thanks in advance.
A: The burden of proof required for a traffic stop is "reasonable suspicion". This suspicion does not have to be traffic related. There is no legal requirement to tell you the reason for the stop, unless he is issuing a citation. Therefore, you have no legal protection if you refuse that information.
There are times when it is not tactically sound to immediately advise the reason for the stop, such as when you or your vehicle match the description of someone who just committed a crime in the area.
Q: Where is the iPod "AUX" jack on the 2008 Chevy Trailblazer?
I am borrowing my brother's new 2008 Trailblazer (same as Envoy). It's the "middle" model with leather and moonroof but doesn't have memory seat, heated seat or power passenger seat. Anyway, there is clearly an aux button on the radio, but I can't figure out where to plug in the iPod. Where is the jack??? Just about every car has one these days and with the AUX on the button I can't imagine GM would not have
one too and be behind the curve.
A: that button is been on all radio gm rados since 2002 but you can not use it you need the gm12- aux cable or this in terface here to use the ipod

Q: I got a chevy equinox 2008 for christmas..it's my first car ever...is this ok?
I am 20 yrs old...a college student, and my dad surprised me trading in his trailblazer for an equinox and giving it to me. I am new to this of cars...all i know is to drive..and GO...
I study upstate NY..where there is alot of snow...cold...etc
Do you think that this is a good first car for me?? I always expected a car..not an SUV...is this ok?
A: Congratulations on the new car. Yes the Equinox is a good first vehicle in fact my service managers daughter got one for a first car and the used car manager here has one for his wife. We have few problems and they have crashed well here. I have seen a few bad accidents where the equinox has been totaled but the driver and passengers were fine. Its a safe and reliable SUV. I thank your dad for buying American.
