Q: 2002 Chevy Trailblazer heat a/c fan only works on high?
The heat a/c fan in my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer will only blow when the fan speed is set to 5. Speeds 1-4 don't blow anything out at all. Is this a problem with the climate control unit or with the fan motor itself?
A: The HVAC control for that vehicle probably makes use of a piece called a blower motor resistor. This is what limits the voltage to the blower. If its failing/failed, it may no longer limit voltage as it normally would. For the GM vehicle I have, this is a fairly common occurence.

A: your o2 trailblazer has an electro-viscous fan clutch, similar to most fan clutches but its controlled by the trucks pcm(computer), it is normal for about 2min if it stays longer than that there are some pcm updates and a revised part but you'll have to get that at the dealership, and if you don't have an extended warranty its gonna cost ya.

A: Remove the left side closeout/insulator panel under dash. Remove the transfer case control module and mounting bracket from the instrument panel mag beam.
Disconnect the three electrical connectors from the transfer case control module.
Remove the transfer case control module from the mounting bracket.

A: Chevrolet has had numerous documented complaints about transmissions in several models of new cars for the last 5 years, especially 01 and 02 models. I know of one lawsuit, and there have probably been more. If you are having problems that your local dealership cannot address, you should contact the Better Business Bureau. Q: Do you know what manufacture code P1345 means for a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer?
I failed my emissions test today and I looked all over the internet for that code and cant find anything
A: p1345 is the GM code for crankshaft sensor/camshaft sensor correlation, which is directly related to your timing.
More than likely it is a crankshaft sensor going bad, although it could indicate that your vehicle has jumped time, or the timing belt/chain is close to breakage.

Q: 2002 Chevy Trailblazer - Chassis Lube Points?
Can someone tell me where the chassis lubrication points are located on a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LT? I looked in the manual and could not find the information.
A: The only grease points are the upper ball joints and they are a pain in the a*s unless you take the front wheels off. You may get lucky with an angled head grease gun end. I personally found that Chevrolet dealers have overlooked these fittings because they were too lazy to remove the severely off-set wheels to uncover these fittings. Go get-em yourself as they are there. There are no fittings on the lower ball joints.
