Q: Chevy Trailblazer?
I want to buy a chevy trailblazer or some type of SUV. I want to know how the trailblazer holds up and if you think it is not a good idea besides the chevy tahoe what would you recommend? What are the history of problems?
I am wanting a used car and I don't want to pay more than 12000 for it.

A: I think your mind is set on a Trailblazer. My neighbor has one as she doesn't seem to have too many problems out of it. Please at least consider getting a black one.
Q: Installing an AUX connection in a Chevy Trailblazer SUV?
I would like to have an AUX connection installed in my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer so that I can play my iPod. Is this possible and if so around how much will it cost?

A: definatly possible, easiest way is to switch out the head unit (radio or cd player)
if you do this yourself around 70-120 or more depending on how nice a unit you get, sony has cd head units starting at 90 that will have the jack for your ipod plus a built in amp for your speakers, your car will sound 300 times better.
paying for installation will cost you another 60$
**edit** just so you know, installing them is easy, only tools you really need:screwdriver/rachet depending on your car and the wiring harness for your vehicle. (another 12 dollars)
all you have to do is take out the old stereo, (sometimes parts of the dash) and slip the new one in. and screw everything back up. easy job takes 1 - 2 hours max
Q: 2004 Chevy Trailblazer won't shift into 4x4 high or 4x4 low, only into auto 4x4 and 4x2?
I just replaced the transfer case in my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer,there was internal problem in the transfer case. It would not shift at all with old transfer case. New transfer case allows it to shift into 4x2 and auto 4x4 just fine but wont go into 4 high or 4 low. Whats wrong? What else should I be looking for ?
A: take it to your chevy dealer and let them reprogram the transfer case.

Their might be specs thier but they are for the tire not the vehicle!
The correct spec can be found by opening the drivers door and looking at the sticker on the pillar. Commonly called the 'B' pillar. The spec is 32 psi
Q: How do I replace the alternator on a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer?
Helping a friend with a $600 quote to replace the alternator in a 05 Trailblazer with the 4.2 6cyl. I can't find any install instructions on this one, does anyone have some, or could speak to the complexity of swapping the alternator out? Thanks!
A: your friend is getting ripped the fu k off the alternator it self is 200 bucks. 400 in labor naaah thats a rip off. all you have to do is disconnect battery, remove the serpentine belt, to do this get a rench that fits the tensioner ussually a 15mm. then just remove the bolts that hold the alternator in place. there should be 2 maybe a 3rd holding on a bracket

Q: Is there many aftermarket performance parts for a 05 Chevy Trailblazer, if so where can I find them?
I am looking to do some upgrades to the performance of my trailblazer, but I don't want go to far because it is our family vehicle also. I have an in-line6 4.2L. I have looked at some websites, but they only have parts for the V8 version, so any help would be appreciated.

Q: How do I get keyless entry on 05 chevy trailblazer?
I just bought a used 05 trailblazer and it didnt come with keyless entry... does it already have it in the car, and can i just buy a remote off ebay or something or do i have to get something installed? I had it in my old car, so it is wierd not having it now!!! Thanks in advance :)

If the racks are removed will there be any holes or anything that i would need to have a bodyshop repair?
