Q: I have a 2008 chevy tahoe I want to put 26'' rims on it.
When it comes down to the tires they have sensors in the factory ones how difficult will it be to reinstall then in the 26's and would the rims be to heavy, would this damage my jeep
A: do you have a tahoe or a jeep? of course the rims will be heavy. you're tahoe/jeep will lose acceleration, braking, the ride will be harsher. but the sensors...i don't know. i'd stop at your local discount tire and ask them. or check out donk magazine.

ok, how do they do that? run on 4 cylinders until the extra power is needed then it runs on 8? seems to me that in 4 cyl mode, the re,maining 4 would become a drag on the system. any thoughts?
A: there is no "drag" on the system, only 4 cylinder are powering the car, this is to cut down on fuel consumption. Finally GM actually is getting smart about fuel consumption, but a Tahoe... Piece of crap, GM like all other American car companies are cutting corners left and right, nearly the entire dash on all GM's and Ford's are made of the same crappy cheap ABS plastic, I could go on...

Anyone knew the trims/packages avail for the hybrid? Sometimes their skimpy on the trim when it's a hybrid....

neither of which doesn't tell you much about options, packages, pricing, etc., only that it exists.
I'd say to look at what was done for the Saturn Vue Green Line, planned on the Saturn Aura, for an idea of what will be available, or just wait for more info to be announced.

I would like to know if i can put a 2008 Chevy Tahoe 6 inch skyjacker suspension lift kit on Chevy Tahoe Hybrid. Are the frame dimensions the same? will it work?

A: It is a great SUV. I think it is perfect for those family that "need" a large SUV. The MPG is as good as a typical sedan in the city.
It is a bit on the pricey side.
Other user mentioned MB diesel. That version is NOT offered in California. Plus diesel are dirtier than gas/hybrid.

A: It's all gonna be based on credit. By the way you can only lease an 08 new not an 07 even if it's a new 07 left over. Try the web site I have listed. also G.M. may be running a special as well.

What do you think about an SUV with 21 mpg fuel efficiency being named 'Green Car of the Year'?
A: A car that requires that much metal (not to mention all the other resources) to be manufactured should not be allowed to be called green.
