Q: Stereo and speakers have stopped working in 2007 chevy tahoe. Help please?
After returning from a week vacation, I turned on my tahoe and the stereo will not come on and the speakers don't work. This means that the noises/chimes for the blinkers, seatbelt being unfastened, etc also do not come on. Everything worked fine before I left for the trip and the car was not used while I was away. The clock on the stereo doesn't even come on. Does anyone have any idea of how I can fix this?
A: sounds like u have a burn fuse... u need to locate the fuse panel either inside the engine or inside the car compartment. pull out the fuses one by one or use the diagram to locate the one that controls speakers.... it should be burnt . then go to the store and replace it for like less then 5 bucks....sometimes your car has spare fuses in the compartment.
or
u can take it to GM and pay 300 bucks..Lol which will be a fat bonus to an exec....
Q: 2007 chevy tahoe oil life reset?
Guys need your help I have a 2007 chevy tahoe like to do my own oil change but dont know how to reset the oil life timer need help?
A: This is the same for all GM made cars.
1. Turn car off.
2. Turn key into ON position turning the electricity on, but not the engine.
3. Press the gas pedal all the way down 3 times and hold it down on the 3rd time.
4. Hold the gas pedal down for no more than 10 seconds.
5. The oil life should be reset.
Q: how many quarts of oil does my 2007 chevy tahoe need?
A: Is it the V8 or the six cylinder.
I believe the v8 takes six
and the 6 takes 7 quarts

Looking for a lift kit and supercharger for the new Chevy tahoe. I know rancho makes one is there any others out there?
A: Skyjacker makes a great lift kit. Try Banks for a supercharger. Personally, I wouldn't bother with a supercharger. Your gas mileage will suffer.
Q: Problem with front breaks on 2007 chevy tahoe LT?
I recently installed new roters and pads from the dealer and I noticed that my front left side disc has a streak down the middle and throwing lots of break dust and when I break it kind of feels like it's pulling .. One of my friends recomends that I have the break fluid flushed out and also said it might be the caliper... hopefully somebody that works @ a chevy dealer could answer this for me thanks
A: You need to take it back and have them to recheck there work.
It could be something they did wrong and they should correct it.
Q: i want a top custom shop to cut up and do some body work on a brand new 2007 chevy tahoe?
A: i own a shop,and you need to find an old school body shop that s good at cutting them down ,and re-doing them,some of the newer body shops are just not experienced with this stuff yet,there lucky if they can paint one right,but look for an old school shop they will be able to do it for you ,good luck with it hope this helps.
Q: 2007 Chevy Tahoe Radio removal?
Does anyone know where i can find directions to remove my 2007Chevy Tahoe stock radio?
A: Tilt the steering wheel low and grip the face plate that covers the cluster and radio and pull it straight out. You kind of have to wiggle it out so as not to scratch anything. The radio is now exposed. Some of these just had a couple of locking tabs that need to depressed to release the radio body or some had four screws in the front that you have to remove. Then it just slides out where you have to depress the locking connections and remove the antenna connection. That's it!
Q: 2007 Chevy Tahoe - Hot only when engine is running. ?
Anyone how of a +12 wire that is hot only when the engine is running,
Alternator turning, I would prefer that the wire in close to the steering column.
I need 12volts only when the running.
Key (acc) power doesn't help.

A: For a 2007 how did the tread get to that level? The tahoe is a 1/2 ton i think and it's hard to say what could cause that.

I've had my chevy tahoe for a while now, and I still cant find where to refill the back wipers. Ive tried looking it up and looking for it, however I just cant find where to put the water for the back.

A: It all comes from the same reservoir that is filled under the hood.

Everyday when I first turn on my Tahoe I can hear a tapping sound comming from my engine and my exhaust. It sounds like a valve or a loose rocker, or maybe thats how it sounds. It gets lower as it runs but you can still hear it.
A: the sound it normal, it is caused by short piston skirts

A: There all like that, there big and use a lot of gas to get you to and from where ever you want to go. Try 8 to 12 mph in most big SUVs. I hope you got a lot of gas money as well.

i have a 07 chevy taho lt with the luggage rack on the top,, is it possible to take off the cross bars (the left right ones)
A: Yes you can. If the corners have the plastic covers on them just pop them off and remove the screws. After removing the rack reinstall the screws into the well-nuts that are imbedded in your roof to prevent water build-up in them.
Q: wat do you think of the 2007 chevy tahoe?
A: I have one and I absolutely love the thing! I love the room it has in it, I love the power, and the new ones get ok gas mileage. I bought it because it was a big urban assault vehicle that carries my family safely I would never be caught dead in a wimpy mini van. I love the fact I can tow a 5000LB trailer with no problem. I love the fact that I am safer and don't have to worry about getting killed by all those idiot ricer drivers on the California free ways.
The fit and finish are great on the 07 Tahoe and the interior is really nice too, and they come with Onstar!
