Q: 2003 chevy tahoe. If gas is below 1/4 and sits overnite, it will not start . Have to put 5 gals of gas in.?
A: Got an 04 Suburban that does the same thing......in my driveway it's parked at a slight downward angle....I'm betting yours is, too.
Solution: Either back it in, or keep more gas than that in the tank.
Fuel gauge inaccuracy is the only thing it could be.
Q: 2003 Chevy Tahoe seat heaters&power driver's side seat don't work. Suspect fuse, but can't locate it??
Front driver and passenger seat heaters don't work, as well as power adjustable driver's seat. Power adjust for passenger still works. I suspect it's a blown fuse, but can't seem to locate the culprit. Anyone know what it is? I hate to pay for a dealer diagnosis if it's just a fuse!
A: It is not a fuse. There is a TSB on this condition, and if you go to the dealer and have less than 80k miles, they will reflash your ECM and BCM for free to fix it.
Q: 2003 chevy tahoe driver side seat problems...?
i have a 2003 chevy tahoe. yesterday i went to push "Driver 1" and noticed that my mirrors and radio stations went to my settings however the seat did not move. the seat heater does not work on the driver side either. i tried to do it with just the controls on the seat and they do not work either. i tried moving the front passenger seat and they work fine. all of the other controls on the door works as well (both driver and front passenger doors).
A: Check the drivers side control panel for a shorted harness, bad switch or a bad connection......

I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe and my right turning signal won't blink sometimes. If it does that and I put it back and then turn it on again it will start working, but sometimes I I'm turing it to the left it just won't blink. What could the problem be? Also, after awhile running my tahoe I hear a clicking type noise in the dashboard/console area. Its more like a buzzing noise zzzz...zzzzz....zzzzz...like that. If that makes sense...Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?
A: The flasher is failing. On most late model GM products the flasher is located in the 4-way emergency flasher switch located on the instrument panel. To replace the flasher you need to replace the 4-way flasher switch.
Q: 2003 Chevy Tahoe engine light and coolant dripping like crazy...Was told it's the lower intake gasket?
I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe with 132500 miles and over the last week a slow drip of coolant has turned into a steady drip. I took it into the shop and the mechanic advised me due to the engine light coming on from a lean on bank one and bank two the lower intake gasket is shot and needs to be replaced...He cleaned out some MAF or some acroym(sp?) but not sure what all this means which was causing a slow rough idle...But want to know if this is causing my antifreeze leak that has gotten worse. But it just seems to do it when its sitting still and dont think it does it when its running. If there is anything that you guys or gals that are way smarter than me it would be a great help.
A: Find yourself a new mechanic and have them do a pressure test on it then they will be able to tell you where it is leaking from it is a good bet it is leaking fom the water pump.A car only has one intake but som like mine have an intake plenum as far as the MAF sensor goes that has nothing to do with a coolant leak
Q: Have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe that when idle slow - seems like it wants to stall - Also bad squeaking noise?
My 2003 tahoe LT has real bad squeaking noise coming from the belt i believe. It has 132000 miles on it and the belt was replaced as well as the belt tentioner. I dont know alot about vehicles but I do know its probably going to be costly to fix this problem. Also, when i started it in my garage, my average fuel economy when from 15.2 mpg to almost 7 mpg and a few miles later the check engine light came on. The dealership advised me this was due to the o2 sensor and the moisture was causing a lein on the fuel. Not sure what that means. If any one can help with what this problem maybe. I also put e85 in it the other day as it is a FF vehicle and thought this may cause the slow idle and seeming like it wanted to stall when just sitting. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
A: Wow, 132K! Impressive. My 01 Yukon's got 105K currently.
Definitely check for play and seizing in your pulleys; that's a good place to start for the squealing belt. Also, is it tight enough? To check, place a ruler against the belt; push down on the belt. If it flexes easily over 1/2 an inch, it's too loose.
For the rough idle/stalling issue, when was the last time you had the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor cleaned? It's the black ring with a four-point plug running from it that's sandwiched between your throttle body and the air intake snorkel.
Bad O2 sensors (there are four) could also cause the rough idle as well. The pre-catalytic converter sensors assist the truck's engine computer with air-fuel mixture. However, unless the O2 sensor is completely cracked through or hanging from the exhaust pipe, moisture can't build up inside it. Good luck!

A: Should be on the right side(passenger side) of the engine area. Ususally in a big black box.
Q: anyone got any troubleshooting tips for the 4x4 on a 2003 chevy tahoe? fuses are good and 4x4 doesn't engage.
A: Chevy has has some problems with there 4wheel and 2wheel drive push buttons consul, the whole thing comes out real easy and the replacement part is about 100$, it took me about 20 Min's to replace and then everything worked just fine, when I called the dealer to order the part he told me that they keep them in stock because of the demand for them.
Q: how do i adjust the parking brake on a 2003 chevy tahoe?
A: isn't this one still under warranty,,id take it back to the dealer if it is,,other wise it can be adjusted from under neath of the vehicle,,there's an adjusting nut on the front part of the cable,,tighten it up a little,if you go to far the back brakes will drag on it,,it doesn't take much to make it good again, just take your time with it,and you,ll do fine,,good luck hope this help,s.,happy new years.

A: The only ones I've ever seen with dual batteries from the factory are the police editions. I had an '02 with heavy duty towing package, etc. and it only had one battery.
